Mr. Bajpai is a distinguished leader and an expert on financial markets. He was the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). He is known for his visionary leadership and exemplary integrity. As Chairman of SEBI, Mr Bajpai oversaw the orderly functioning of India's securities markets and initiated numerous reforms and innovations in India's securities markets. Mr Bajpai has also been Chairman of the Corporate Governance Task Force of IOSCO and a member of Board of Directors at General Insurance Corporation of India, ICICI Bank, Tata Chemicals and India International Insurance Ltd., Singapore. Previously, he has also served as Non-Executive Chairman of National Stock Exchange. Mr. Bajpai has been a frequent guest speaker at various seminars in India & abroad including institutions like London School of Economics, Harvard University, OECD & IMF. He has received several awards, most notably amongst them being the Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Finance Award from the Prime Minister of India.
Bala is a veteran banker with over two decades of banking experience in Asia with a proven track record in building regional businesses. In his last role, he was the President- International of Westpac with overall responsibility for Westpac's operations in Asia, Europe & America. Westpac is Australia's second-largest bank & amongst top 12 banks globally with a market capitalisation of over AUD 100 billion. Before joining Westpac, Bala worked with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as its Vice Chairman and Managing Director with responsibility for the bank's businesses in India. Bala has also headed the Origination and Client coverage business for South and Southeast Asia at Standard Chartered Bank and before that was Head of Corporate Bank of ICICI Bank. He joined ICICI as its CFO from KPMG, where he was a partner overseeing the financial sector. He is a chartered accountant and has completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Alok Tandon is a successful entrepreneur with a rich experience of more than 28 years in investing and building significant companies and business. During his entrepreneurial journey over the past 28 years, Alok has had rich experience across various sectors including Alternate asset management, Telecom, Power, Media and Infrastructure. Alok has successfully built businesses from a grassroots level and led large companies as an Investor and Managing Director. His entrepreneurial abilities in Principal investments and lending business comes from a deep understanding of local regulatory regimes, knowledge across business models and extensive corporate relationships. He entered into a JV with Edelweiss Group in India to set up an Alternative Asset Management company to set up a mezzanine fund, which is now fully invested. Alok is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is an Alumni of Harvard (O.P.M.). His interest includes reading and travelling.
Hemant is a seasoned banker with over two decades of banking experience across global financial markets. He was nominated to the Standard Chartered global business leadership team and the Chairperson of the South Asia Wholesale bank MANCO as the Co-head of Wholesale Bank. He had the responsibility for the performance of the Global markets, Investment banking and the Principal finance business. His Global markets responsibility included managing the largest credit, rates, forex and equities business amongst foreign banks in India. He was responsible for a Balance sheet of US$ 25 Bn and investment book of US$ 3 Bn in a debt fund. He relocated to SCB Singapore in 2011 to lead the ASEAN financial markets business for strategic clients across 10 countries. Hemant led the thought leadership initiatives of the bank with policymakers. The RBI invited him to present to the Committee on Currency Futures & Options and advised the Indian Finance Ministry on the sovereign rating advisory for India. Hemant has been a member of several boards including Standard Chartered Securities Limited and Fixed Income, Money markets derivatives association of India. Hemant started his career with ANZ Grindlays in India. He has a B Tech, MBA and an AMP from the Wharton Business School.
Vinod has over 25 years of financial industry experience across a range of organizations and markets. He worked at various leading institutions including Standard Chartered Bank, Bloomberg LP, Merrill Lynch (subsequently Bank of America), Barclays Capital and RBC Global Markets, where he held senior responsibilities across Sales & Trading functions in Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Exotic Derivatives, Emerging Markets Fixed Income and Hedge Fund Sales. Vinod ran several different businesses, managing teams of up to 120 people, and accounted for up to $300mln in revenue at these institutions. Vinod now oversees the Investment Desk at Quadrigae Privatus Wealth, covering Discretionary as well as Advisory portfolios. He also acts as the Fund Manager for the planned Macro Multi- strategy Fund which will be launched on SAIML’s S-Cube Fund platform in the next few weeks. Vinod did his MBA at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A); B. Com from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.

Originally from London, Matt has worked for a number of Top Tier institutions in the UK and Singapore, including Barclays, Credit Suisse, Bank of America and Schroders.
Ramanan is a retired Indian Navy officer, with 3 decades of experience overarching a large spectrum of skills such as policy formulation, weapon acquisitions, repair & support yard for Warships and Submarines. A post graduate in Nuclear Technology, Management Studies and Russian Language, he presently heads the compliance and audit functions of the company.
